It is known that, in any educational system the human factor is essential. The man hollies not only the place, but also all that he achieves.
I consider the educational act as being as productive as the formula that builds the constructive communication relationship between the participants in the educational process, in which it is known the responsible partner role.
I choose to stop over the role of the postmodern teacher because I feel that is the most accessible, giving my own, therefore being the most coherent debate choice. I can't say that becoming a postmodernist teacher is my dream, but I agree that the out of the box educator appeals to me and I find myself in many of its metaphorical lines.
If I were to make a profile of the postmodern teacher that would be a flexible, courageous, involved, creative and many amazing adjectives would characterize him. Who wouldn't love an out of the ordinary lessor, given the fact that we are living in a continuous movement, being part of a world that is thrown into a perpetuous search for uniqueness and novelty?! Making part of a swidden mechanism, metaphorically speaking, is the dream of anyone who exercises his passion at his workplace. Our educational system needs a postmodernity infusion for adapting to the student's needs. The teacher should have in his job description , as sine qua non aspects, empathy, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, all being imperatively needed aspects to a student evolution too.
The postmodernist vizion over the world, be it expressed in literature, plastic art or pedagogy, inserts the individual into a harmonious universe, like a puzzle piece, raising awareness over the big picture.
Fragmentarism into unity and unity into fragmentarism, this goal being translated by the postmodern educator as acknowledge of the student as unicity, as accepting his role as a guide in the subjective knowledge of each one. The teacher admits his role as a moderator of a process in which the student discovers his abilities, forms his skills and competences so that he may built a positive behavioral profile, attitudes and a powerful mindset,proper values for a equilibrated life.
Being a postmodernist teacher it is an everyday challenge, being in a continual metamorphose, focused on the limits annulment and the extending of your own horizont so that you may direct it towards a successful development of the student. Enthusiastic and passionate about the profession that he loves and willing to change the world, he knows that spring always starts with a single flower, as long as you don't abandon your dreams. Perseverent, patient, empathic and ambitious, he is building an humanity worthy future.
